This is a highly detailed and accurate reproduction of the 1906 McLane Manufacturing Company catalog. Packed with period equipment and furnishings, the catalog also includes floor plans of suggested configurations. McLane manufacturing, located in Milford, New Hampshire, also had offices in Chicago. The company was established in 1876 by John McLane, and became the largest manufacturer of Post Office Furnishings in the United States.

Included in the catalog are more than 50 endorsements from postmasters around the country. These endorsements are dated from 1898 to 1906, and include the both the postmaster's name and the location of his post office.

We have digitally reproduced and restored the original 43-page catalog at an extremely high resolution. In addition, the pages are printed on a heavy gloss paper reminiscent of the original. This is not a photocopy - our methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail. Its true spiral binding, unlike a comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. Heavy clear vinyl covers protect the front and back, and the cover image is reproduced on an even heavier weight paper than the inside pages.
