Schwalbach Tower Clocks
1906 Catalog
Clocks & Mechanisms in Photographs & Engravings Section Through Tower Installation Photographs & Drawings Testimonials from Around the U.S. Church Installations Identified
This is a highly detailed and accurate reproduction of a 1906 Schwalbach Church and Tower Clocks catalog. Obviously an exceedingly talented and well-respected clockmaker, Matthias Schwalbach is also credited with being one of the craftsmen and mathematicians who worked to perfect the first "type writer" for E. Remington & Sons.
We have enlarged the size of our original catalog, increasing the clarity of the many images (see pictures). The catalog includes both photographs and engravings of clocks, and the last page is an interesting questionnaire form for customers to fill out, asking for measurements and other information regarding the prospective clock tower.

We have digitally reproduced and restored our original 23-page catalog at an extremely high resolution. The pages are printed on a heavy gloss paper reminiscent of the original. This is not a photocopy - our methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail. Its true spiral binding, unlike a comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. Heavy clear vinyl covers protect the front and back, and the cover image is reproduced on an even heavier weight paper than the inside pages. Our fine reproductions are already in some museum research libraries.
This reproduction catalog is meant to be a permanent reference for the collector or other interested reader.
