William Spratling
1962 Silver Catalog & Price List
Hundreds of Objects
Spratling catalogs are pretty rare. The late Phyllis Goddard described our book on her Spratling silver site as "much better than the original copy of the catalogue that I have in our collection." Spratlingsilver.com is now being maintained by her family as a tribute to her.
This is a permanent reference book for the Taxco silver aficionado.
Among the many items are:
- Bracelets, necklaces, rings, cufflinks, and other jewelry.
- Desk Accessories - clips, letter openers, boxes.
- Tea and Coffee Sets.
- Pitchers.
- Flatware and tableware of all sorts.
- Tumblers, both flat-bottomed and footed.
- Stemmed goblets.
- Candlesticks.
- Serving bowls and trays of all sorts.
- Salt and pepper shakers and saltcellars.
- Ashtrays and cigarette boxes.
- Various sizes of other lidded boxes.
Many, many other objects plus sizes and prices for hundreds of objects not pictured. A 1962 order form is also included.

We have digitally reproduced our original 1962 29-page catalog at an extremely high resolution, printed the pages on a heavy gloss stock, and bound it between heavy clear covers with a silvery coil. This is not a photocopy - our methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail. Colors, if any, are daylight-corrected. Some of our fine reproduction catalogs are already in museum research collections.
This reproduction catalog is meant to be a permanent reference. Its true spiral binding, unlike a comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. The front and back covers are printed on heavy marbled cover stock, protected by sturdy clear vinyl outer covers.
A wonderful and unusual gift for yourself or someone special.
