This is a fine reproduction of the B&W 1879 Hiram J. Thompson Wholesale Catalogue of frames, wood moldings, tables, racks, shelves, and other items as indicated above. Some chromolithographs are illustrated (all are priced). A number of oil paintings are priced also, but not shown. The reproduction catalog has 77 pages plus covers, and includes two complete indexes and our introduction page.

Most items are Eastlake in style, with some great designs and some pretty frightening ones, too. All items have a wholesale price listed. The catalog is stuffed with illustrations.

This reproduction catalog is meant to be a permanent reference and is suitable for gift-giving. Its color-coordinated plastic spiral binding, unlike a cheaper comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. The front and back covers are printed on heavy marbled cover stock and protected by sturdy clear vinyl outer covers.

We have digitally reproduced and restored our original catalog at an extremely high resolution, and printed the pages on a heavy paper stock. This is not a photocopy - our scanning and digital editing methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail, limited only by the production quality of the original. Some of our fine reproduction catalogs are already in museum research collections.
