Wheatley Chimney Pots
Hand-made Chimney Tops
This is a highly detailed and accurate reproduction of a wonderful c1927 catalog of Wheatley chimney pots. We are dating this catalog at c1927, based on a reference in the catalog itself to the Cambridge Wheatley Company. Although the pieces represent a move to a more commercially viable product, the designs are still very much in the earlier Wheatley tradition. As well as drawings of the chimney pots themselves, there are pen and ink drawings of the pots on rooftops. Readers of Dorothy Sayers' Busman's Honeymoon should especially enjoy the drawings of Tudor-style houses showing the pots.

We have digitally reproduced and restored our original catalog pages at an extremely high resolution. The pages are printed on a heavy gloss paper in a sepia tone. This is not a photocopy - our methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail, Its true spiral binding, unlike a comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. Heavy clear vinyl covers protect the front and back, and the cover image is reproduced on an even heavier weight paper than the inside pages.
Our fine reproductions are already in museum research libraries. This reproduction catalog is meant to be a permanent reference. oys, furnishings, glass, china. pottery and other collectibles.
